Suspended or Deleted Hosting Accounts
Why an account is suspended
Usually an unpaid invoice. You get reminders on days 1, 2 and 3 after the due date. On day 4, services on the account are suspended until the invoice is paid.
Renewal invoices are created 5 days before the due date, so you have time to pay.
While suspended
- Your websites are offline.
- SFTP, cron jobs and Git push are stopped.
- Your files and databases are kept.
Getting it back
Pay the overdue invoice (Invoices in the portal). The account is reactivated automatically: sites, SFTP, cron and Git come back as they were. If it was suspended for another reason, contact support.
Deleting a hosting account
- Download anything you want to keep: Backups and Downloading a Backup.
- Open the account and click Delete at the top, then confirm.
- All files, databases, cron jobs and Git repositories on the account are removed from the server.
- Your domain stays in CDNShark; only its hosting is removed. You can create a new hosting account for it later.
- Renewal invoices for the account stop.
Deletion can't be undone from the panel. Contact support straight away if you deleted the wrong account.
