What is CDNShark Sync?

CDNShark Sync keeps one folder identical across every computer you sign in on. Save a file on your laptop and it appears on your desktop; delete it in one place and it goes everywhere. It runs in the background from your menu bar or system tray.

Two ways to connect

  • Use your CDNShark account. Sign in and your private workspace is created automatically. Storage comes out of the allowance already included with your plan — nothing to configure.
  • Direct S3. Point the app at S3-compatible storage you already own (Garage, MinIO, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, AWS S3). No CDNShark account is needed at all.

What you get

  • Version history. Earlier revisions are kept, so an accidental overwrite is a couple of clicks to undo.
  • Honest conflicts. When the same file changes in two places, both copies are kept and you choose. Nothing is silently overwritten.
  • Optional encryption, including a mode where only you hold the key.

What it is not

Sync is not a backup product. It mirrors your folder, so deleting a file deletes it everywhere — recoverable from version history for a while, but not indefinitely. If you want scheduled, retained copies, use CDNShark Backup instead, or as well.
