Set Up Email on iPhone, iPad and Android
You'll need your full email address, its password, and the server name from the Mail app setup tab (usually mail.cdnshark.com).
iPhone and iPad (Mail app)
- Open Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account.
- Enter your name, full email address, password and a description, then tap Next.
- Choose IMAP.
- Incoming Mail Server: host name = the server name, user name = your full email address, password.
- Outgoing Mail Server: the same host name, user name and password (they're required for sending).
- Tap Next, then Save.
If it doesn't connect, open the account under Settings → Mail → Accounts, check Advanced: incoming should be port 993 with SSL on; outgoing (SMTP → Primary Server) port 465 with SSL, or 587.
Android (Gmail app)
- Open the Gmail app → your profile picture → Add another account → Other.
- Enter your full email address and tap Manual setup.
- Choose Personal (IMAP) and enter your password.
- Incoming server settings: server = the server name, port 993, security SSL/TLS, username = full email address.
- Outgoing server settings: server = the same name, port 465 (SSL/TLS) or 587 (STARTTLS), "Require sign-in" on, same username and password.
- Finish the remaining screens.
Other Android mail apps (Samsung Email, Outlook) ask for the same values. Reference: Mail App Settings (IMAP and SMTP).
