PHP Limits and Settings
Every hosting account runs PHP in its own isolated process group, so a busy site on the same server can't slow yours down.
Limits for websites
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| memory_limit | 256M |
| upload_max_filesize / post_max_size | 128M |
| max_execution_time | 120 seconds |
| max_input_vars | 5000 |
| max_file_uploads | 50 |
| Simultaneous PHP requests | 10 per account |
Cron jobs (command-line PHP) get 512M of memory and no time limit.
Included extensions
MySQL/MariaDB, cURL, GD, mbstring, XML, ZIP, intl, BCMath and OPcache are always on. Extra extensions such as Redis, Imagick or Memcached can be enabled by support; open a ticket.
Security settings
- Disabled functions (for websites):
exec,passthru,shell_exec,system,proc_open,popen,pcntl_exec,pcntl_fork,symlink,linkand related ones. This stops a hacked plugin from running programs on the server. Cron jobs aren't restricted this way. - open_basedir: PHP can read and write inside your
domains/andtmp/folders only. - display_errors is off, so errors never show to visitors. They're written to
logs/php<version>.error.log. - Sessions and uploaded temp files go to your own
tmp/folder.
These limits can't be changed per account from the panel. If your application needs more, contact support.
